About Douglas Healy

The recipient of a bachelor of science in business administration from Liberty University, Douglas Healy obtained a juris doctor from the University of Arkansas in 2000 and was the youngest graduating attorney in his class. After he launched his legal career with Duncan & Pierce, Douglas Healy served two years as a senior assistant prosecuting attorney for the Greene County Prosecutor's Office in Springfield, Missouri. He later spent two years as the chairman's advisor at the Missouri Public Service Commission, where he reviewed various legal matters for the chairman and other commissioners.

Since 2007, he has worked as an attorney at Healy Law Offices, LLC, a premier Midwest-based boutique energy-law firm. In this capacity, he provides counsel to companies like Magnitude 7 Metals, National Steel of America, and CenturyTel and represents the Missouri Joint Municipal Electric Utility Commission in state and federal litigation. Supplementing nearly two decades of legal experience, he has memberships with the Republican National Lawyers Association and the American Public Power Association.
